Am I able to book or check availability through the website? Yes! You can now check availability and book online,  alternatively please give a member of our team a call on 01446 794024.

Do you require a deposit? We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure a booking.

When is the balance due? The balance can be paid online prior to arrival or if you'd prefer you can pay on check in.

What time can we check in? You can check in between 12.30pm and 6pm, if you wish to arrive outside these times please contact us on 01446 794024 or info@acorncamping.co.uk to make arrangements.

What time is check out? Check out is by 11am, we ask that you vacate your pitch by 11am on the day of departure. Late stay options are available at £10 per pitch by prior arrangement (when available). 

Do you allow dogs and what is the maximum number allowed per pitch? Yes we allow well behaved dogs at £2 each per night, up to 3 per pitch. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times including on the pitch & any mess must be cleaned up immediately.

Are the Shepherds Huts (Glamping Pods) ensuite?  Our Shepherds Huts are not ensuite, but they are located within 12 metres of the Shower/ Toilet Block which is open 24hrs per day with free and constant hot water. 

Do you allow dogs in the Glamping pods (Shepherds Huts) or the Lodge? Small dogs are permitted in the shepherds huts and lodges, we do not recommend large dogs due to the small size of the accommodation. 

Dogs must be supervised at all times. If you are a wedding guest, please ask us for recommendations for dog sitting services. 

What are the opening hours of the Cafe? Acorn Cafe is open from 9am until 4pm 7 days a week. We serve hot food on Wednesday - Sunday. Breakfast is served 9am until 11.30pm and lunch is served 12pm - 2.30pm. On a Monday and Tuesday the full menu is not available, we serve a range of cakes, pastries, tea cakes, pies and homemade soup. 

What are the opening hours of the Shop? The shop is open from 9am until 4.00pm every day.

Can I bring a Firepit? Unfortunately we don't allow firepits or campfires, but you are more than welcome to use BBQ's raised off the ground - if using disposable BBQ's please use bricks provided to prop these up so they don't burn the grass.
